Tom Russell

Although this is Tom?s first production with the Apollo Players, he has played many roles in a wide variety of musicals and plays.

His favourite roles include Billy Crocker Anything Goes, Gerald Bolingbroke Me and My Girl, Pontius Pilate Jesus Christ Superstar, Motel
Kamzoil Fiddler on the Roof, The Arbiter Chess, Bill Calhoun Kiss Me, Kate and Charlie Cameron Brigadoon. Tom?s other musical credits include Oklahoma!, Sweet Charity, My Fair Lady, South Pacific and Half a Sixpence as well as appearing in many operas and operettas.

Tom also enjoys performing in drama, having appeared in roles such as Happy Loman Death of a Salesman and Patrick Sellar The Cheviot, The
Stag and the Black, Black Oil. Off-stage Tom enjoys following the fortunes of the Glasgow Warriors rugby team.

Tom is looking forward to reprising the role of Nicely Nicely Johnson which he first performed more years ago than he cares to remember.
