Rosemary Sedgwick

Rosemary originates from Liverpool and has been a keen member of amateur theatre from an early age, as a member of the Liverpool Youth Theatre and Liverpool Met and previous roles include Nancy in OLIVER!, Annie Oakley in ANNIE GET YOUR GUN and Marion in THE MUSIC MAN. She moved to Scotland in 1989 and joined East Renfrewshire Operatic Society, with whom she has played many leading roles including Gladys in THE PAJAMA GAME, Kate in KISS ME KATE, Reno in ANYTHING GOES, Fiona in BRIGADOON, Mame Dennis in MAME and the leading role of Calamity in CALAMITY JANE. Rosemary also has experience of television work and has appeared in TAGGART, HIGH ROAD, LIFE SUPPORT and the BBC children's drama BARMY AUNT BOOMERANG. This is Rosemary's third show with the Apollo Players, having made her debut in 1998 to play Miss Sherman in our original production of FAME, a role she recreated last November in our revised production. Most recently, Rosemary was seen portraying Aunt Eller in OKLAHOMA! at the Eastwood Theatre, Giffnock.
