Mark Prendergast

Mark began performing at the age of five learning magic and illusion. With the Dunlop Players he performed in the pantomimes BABES IN THE WOOD, SNOW WHITE and MOTHER GOOSE and with Kilmarnock Operatic Society he has enjoyed appearances in a variety of musicals including Prince Chululongkorn in THE KING AND I, ME AND MY GIRL, the Artful Dodger in OLIVER! and Will Parker in OKLAHOMA! He then went onto perform with Kilmarnock Youth Theatre including a principal role in TRASH at the Edinburgh Festival. With the East Ayrshire Choir and Band, Mark sang at the Millennium Dome last year and has also performed at Glasgow's Royal Concert Hall. In 1994, he joined the National Youth Choir of Scotland and together with the Scottish Chamber Orchestra, he has toured Scotland and Ireland and later this year will be touring with them to Sweden. Mark is also an active member of the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, is currently studying acting and performance at Langside College and has just recently been accepted by the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. Earlier this year, Mark performed in CABARET with the Three Wise Monkeys theatre company at the King's Theatre.
