
Marcella Holmes
Marcella is currently studying singing at the RSAMD and looks forward to attending the Royal Academy of Music in London on their Postgraduate Musical Theatre course. Professional work includes ROBIN HOOD AND THE BABES IN THE WOODS, MOTHER GOOSE and THE KING AND I at The King?s and EVITA at the Playhouse, all in Edinburgh. At the Fringe Festival, her roles have included Kale in MATCHGIRLS, Alice in ALICE IN WONDERLAND, Kip?s Mum in THE VACHEES, Nancy in OLIVER! and Maisie in THE BOY FRIEND. She was also in the case of THE BOY FRIEND who won the Capital Award. Classical work includes Poulenc?s DIALOGUES DES CARMELITES. Hadyn?s CREATION and Stravinsky?s THE RAKE?S PROGRESS. Dancing since an early age, Marcella has competed at championship level in tap, ballet and jazz.
