Mairi Coyle

A graduate in Theatre Studies and English from the University of Glasgow, Mairi has performed with a number of societies over central Scotland including the Orpheus Club, Savoy Club, Glasgow Light Opera Club and the Apollo Players. Roles include Meg Brockie in BRIGADOON, Parthy in SHOW BOAT, Melissa in PRINCESS IDA, The Duchess of Plaza-Toro in THE GONDOLIERS, Pitti-Sing in THE MIKADO, Juno in ORPHEUS IN THE UNDERWORLD, Ruth in THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE, Lady Angela in PATIENCE and Mrs Bedwin/Old Sally in OLIVER! A former member of the RSNO Chorus, she now appears regularly in concerts and cabaret throughout Scotland. Mairi has also directed youth theatre productions of THE BOY FRIEND and THE PIRATES AND PENZANCE. She has also worked for TAG Theatre Company, Scottish Youth Theatre, the MacRobert Arts Centre and Borderline Theatre.
