Lorna Boyce

Lorna Boyce

Lorna trained at the Christine Atkin Academy of Dance and is now a qualified dance teacher. She made her debut with the Apollo Players in 42ND STREET and is now appearing in her fifteenth show with us, having understudied the leading role of Carmen Diaz in our 1999 production of FAME, played Bitelle, one of the notorious Les Cagelles in LA CAGE AUX FOLLES, in which she also understudied the role of Anne Dindon, playing Sandy in GREASE in 60 SHOWS ON at Glasgow's Mitchell Theatre, Velma in WEST SIDE STORY, Pearly Queen in ME AND MY GIRL and appeared as a dancer in THE SOUND OF HIS MUSIC. Other performing credits include HIGH SOCIETY, CAROUSEL, THE DESERT SONG, THE KING AND I and eleven pantomimes with Glasgow Airport Drama Club at the Eastwood Theatre. Lorna is also a former cheerleader with Scottish Claymores and her television credits include THE ADVOCATES, TAGGART and the film COMPLICITY starring Jonny Lee Miller.
