Lisa Wiggins

Eighteen year old Lisa has attended dance classes from the early age of three and is a pupil at the Jan Sutherland School of Dance and Drama in Dumbarton. She has won many medals and trophies over the years and is the Millennium Champion in tap and modern dance and the current Scottish Senior Tap Champion. Lisa has performed in many professional musicals including playing?the roles of Young Cosette in the UK national touring production of Cameron Mackintosh?s LES MISERABLES at the Edinburgh Playhouse, Gretl von Trapp in THE SOUND OF MUSIC starring Liz Robertson and Christopher Casenove at the King?s Theatre and Jessie Oakley in ANNIE GET YOUR GUN starring Kim Criswell and John Diedrich, also at the King?s.
Lisa has danced with Scottish Ballet and the Northern City Ballet, played the leading role of Dorothy in THE WIZARD OF OZ at the Edinburgh Festival and has appeared in many amateur productions including OLIVER!, THE BOY FRIEND and
OKLAHOMA! At present, she is in her second year at Strathclyde University studying for a Master of Science Degree in Mathematics. ME AND MY GIRL marks Lisa?s debut with the Apollo Players.
