Laura Harwood

OLIVER! is Laura's twelfth production with the the Apollo Players, having made her debut in 1997 playing Connie Boylan in ANNIE. Her first principal role came in 1999 when she played Diane in our world amateur premiere production of BIG - THE MUSICAL. She has appeared in BARNUM, FAME, MACK AND MABEL, ME AND MY GIRL, as Dolores in WEST SIDE STORY and most recently was featured as a vocalist in THE SOUND OF HIS MUSIC. Laura is pleased to be recreating the role of Mrs Sowerberry in OLIVER! for a third successive year. She has also performed in several concerts including roadshows for the Apollo Players and has featured as a soloist in ASPECTS OF WEBBER at Haddow House, Aberdeen and a concert with the musical group Centre Stage at Kilmardinny House. Laura graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University last year with an honours degree in marketing and communications.
