Juliana Hoy
Juliana trained at the Dorothy Paul School of Drama and, while at school, appeared in plays such as THE BLAB BOYS and THE STEAMIE. Her singing voice has won her trophies at the Greenock Music Festival. She appeared in CHESS in 1994 and played one of the cell block girls in Pantheon?s CHICAGO. By contrast she then played Widow Twankey in Spotlight Theatre?s ALADDIN. Juliana appeared as Phyllis in our Spring 1996 production of 42ND STREET and went on to delight audiences with her portrayal of Carrie Pipperidge in our last production - CAROUSEL. She is thrilled to be playing her first leading lady role in SINGIN? IN THE RAIN. Juliana recently won first prize in a national British Telecom competition version of STARS IN THEIR EYES with her portrayal of Eva Peron.
