Iain Mcinnes

Iain has been singing since age 16, having trained with John Robertson. He has performed throughout Scotland in musicals and operetta with numerous musical societies and companies, with previous musical roles including Gaylord Ravenal in SHOW BOAT, Billy Bigelow in CAROUSEL, The Caliph in KISMET, together with most tenor roles in the Gilbert and Sullivan repertoire. Highlights on the latter include Nanki Poo in THE MIKADO, Ralph Rackstraw in HMS Pinafore, Colonel Fairfax in THE YEOMAN OF THE GUARD and most recently, Frederic in THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE, a role which he took to the Buxton International Festival. He has an interest in Scottish music performance, in particular the songs of Robert Burns. THE SOUND OF HIS MUSIC is his first performance with the Apollo Players.
