Elaine, an experienced actress and singer, has a great passion for all things theatrical, whether as a theatre-goer, cabaret artist, director of, or performer in musicals and plays. Elaine has been privileged to play principal roles in over 60 productions in theatres as diverse as the Cottier Theatre in Glasgow's West End to the Edinburgh Playhouse. Favourite stage roles include Anne in LA CAGE AUX FOLLES, Maggie Jones in 42ND STREET, Irene Roth in CRAZY FOR YOU, Alaura Kingsley/Carla Haywood in CITY OF ANGELS, Emily in THE HIRED MAN, Aunt Em/Glinda, the Good Witch in the RSC version of THE WIZARD OF OZ, Hodel in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, Adele in SHAKER'S RE-STIRRED, Slyvia in the female version of THE ODD COUPLE, Sister Bridget in LETTER FROM THE GENERAL and she played herself in A GRAND NIGHT FOR SINGING. Recently, Elaine played two different characters in the musical RED, HOT AND COLE, raising money for Cancer Research. Elaine also loves to travel and in January she spent time in Sri Lanka helping raise funds for a local children's home and in February it was back to Broadway... to see more shows!
