Drew Wingate

Drew is nine years old and attends St Machans Primary School in Lennoxtown. Since joining the Campsie Drama Dudes in February last year, he has played the leading roles of Danny in DANNY AND THE DREAM MAKER and The Emperor in THE EMPEROR'S NEW CLOTHES. He made his King's Theatre debut last year as a member of Fagin's Gang in the Apollo Players' successful production of OLIVER! and is delighted to be returning to the show this year to play the title role of Oliver. He also appeared in concert earlier this year in THE SOUND OF HIS MUSIC at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra. Drew has also appeared on stage professionally at the King's Theatre, having played the role of Hector in their recent pantomime BABES IN THE WOOD alongside Elaine C Smith.
