Denise Thomson

Denise started dancing at the age of 2. She is now a qualified dance teacher and teaches children in tap, modern and disco at the Joan MacVicar School of Dance. She joined the Apollo Players at the age of sixteen for our 1991 production of OKLAHOMA! and has been a stalwart of our dance troupe ever since. In 1997, Denise delighted audiences with her creation of the Cyd Charisse role in the Broadway Ballet sequence of SINGIN' IN THE RAIN and this was quickly followed by her first speaking role as Lily St. Regis in ANNIE. Other shows with us include SUGAR, THE KING AND I, WEST SIDE STORY, CHESS, A CHORUS LINE, both our 1995 and 2000 productions of OLIVER!, SOUTH PACIFIC, 42ND STREET, CAROUSEL, BARNUM, FAME, BIG, LA CAGE AUX FOLLES and MACK AND MABEL.
