
David Simpson
David is 12 and attends Glasgow Academy. Whilst at primary school, he appeared in a number of shows including JAZZAMATAZZ and MILLENNIUM MAGIC. He has trained with Scottish Youth Theatre, the Junior Academy of the RSAMD and trained in singing with David Greer of Voiceworks Central. David made his professional debut as Gavroche in the touring production of LES MISERABLES at the Edinburgh Playhouse and has played Edward in BABES IN THE WOOD at the Palace Theatre, Kilmarnock. Other stage credits include Billy Kopecki in BIG - THE MUSICAL and the Artful Dodger in OLIVER! with the Apollo Players, Friedrich in THE SOUND OF MUSIC with Pantheon and Young Vincent in VINCENT, THE FLAME BURN BRIGHT and ANGELS, A TALE OF GOOD AND EVIL - two plays directed by David Greer. For Scottish Television, David has also co-presented reports on family holidays in Spain and Denmark for SCOTTISH PASSPORT and hobbies include playing saxophone, rugby, golf, athletics, squash and football.
