David Maule
David's interest in musical theatre began at the age of 11 when he played the part of Kurt von Trapp in Carluke Operatic Society's production of THE SOUND OF MUSIC. Later that year, he made his professional debut as Kurt in the national tour of THE SOUND OF MUSIC starring Liz Robertson and Christopher Cazenove at the King's Theatre (Glasgow/Edinburgh) and played the role again when the national tour returned for a second year running. Other credits include ANNIE GET YOUR GUN, Danny Zuko in GREASE and Angus McMonies in BRIGADOON. David's pantomime credits include an Ugly Sister in CINDERELLA, Squire Grab-a-Lot in MOTHER GOOSE, Abanazer in ALADDIN, Baron Hardup in CINDERELLA and the Sheriff of Nottingham in BABES IN THE WOOD. David sang at The Time of Your Life exhibition at the SECC and has performed various choral works including Verdi's Requiem. Film experience includes COMPLICITY. For the Apollo Players, David played the Artful Dodger in our 1995 production of OLIVER!, Schlomo in FAME (1998/99) and BIG - THE MUSICAL. David would like to thank his family and friends for their love and support.
