Cassie Egan
Cassie, born and bred in Glasgow, discovered a love of musical theatre at a young age through the encouragement of her family. At the age of ten she was enrolled in the Mitchell School of Drama to learn the basics of her craft. Then at 13 years old she was accepted into the Stage School of Scotland where she studied musical theatre till the age of 16. She first came to The Apollo Players for a junior production of Fame and successfully auditioned for the role of Miss Sherman. She returned to The Apollo Players in 2005 as a soloist in our 40th anniversary concert Sentimental Journey.
Cassie?s previous roles include Adelaide Adams in Calamity Jane, and various chorus parts in Oliver!, Romeo and Juliet, A Midsummer Night?s Dream and various pantos and variety shows in and around Glasgow. Cassie is thrilled to once again bring such a passionate character to life, and would like to thank Evelyn, John and Tom for the privilege. She would also like to thank all her family and friends, especially her grandmother Frankline Egan for all her love and support.
