Ashley Smith

Ashley has attended the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama and has had her voice trained for the past three years. She has been performing on stage from an early age and made her professional debut at the age of eleven in MR McSCROOGE starring Andy Cameron at the Pavilion Theatre. With Spotlight Stage School, roles include Aquarius in ZODIAC, Snow White in SNOW WHITE AND THE SEVEN DWARFS and the Fairy Godmother in CINDERELLA, all at the Mitchell Theatre. By contrast, she has also played Lady Macbeth at the RSAMD. Last year, Ashley participated in a LES MISERABLES masterclass at London's Palace Theatre in which she played the role of Eponine - a role she hopes to someday play professionally. Most recently, she has been accepted on the one year musical theatre course with Knightswood Dance School of Scotland and has appeared in London with the National Youth Music Theatre in THE CREATION, a new musical by Jeremy James Taylor. Ashley is delighted to be playing the role of Serena, which she originated last year.
