Andrew Roach
Born in Inverness, Andrew now lives in Glasgow where he graduated with a MA (Hons) in Politics from Glasgow University. Showing a keen interest in theatre from an early age, Andrew's previous stage experience includes the leading and principal roles of Emcee in CABARET, Riff in WEST SIDE STORY, Ali Hakim in OKLAHOMA!, Madame Lucy in IRENE and backing vocalist to Barry Manilow at the SECC. Andrew made his debut with the Apollo Players in our 1999 production of FAME - THE MUSICAL, in which he understudied the role of Schlomo Metzenbaum as well as appearing in the Ensemble. Andrew was ideally cast as Mercedes in our spring production LA CAGE AUX FOLLES, here at the King's Theatre and now looks forward to a successful run as Harry in MACK AND MABEL.
