Andrew Keay

Andrew began performing at the age of eight, with his first solo performance in Largs Amateur Operatic Society?s concert, featuring in the role of Kurt from The Sound of Music. Since then Andrew?s passion for musical theatre has grown, and most notable roles to date include Fyedka (Fiddler on the Roof), Action (West Side Story), and other minor roles with Ayrshire Philharmonic Operatic Society.

Andrew sang solo in our concert Sentimental Journey, at Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, and went on to play Schlomo in Fame 2006. In Les Miserables School Edition, Andrew was thrilled to play Marius after having performed the role of Valjean in the Belmont Academy production in 2004.

Andrew appeared as George Gershwin in our Scottish Amateur Premiere of Thoroughly Modern Millie in October 2006, and looks forward to reprising his role as Marius in Les Miserables at the Pavilion Theatre in February 2007.
