Alison Cleland

Alison first performed on stage at the age of two in Alberta, Canada. When she moved to Scotland with her family, she continued her interests with lessons in dance (tap and ballet), baton twirling and musical theatre. She has had several principal roles in school and amateur productions. Her first major role was Dorothy Gale in The Wizard of Oz at the age of eleven. She has also performed as Marty in Grease, Pepper in Annie, Lady Maria ? Duchess of Dene in Me and My Girl and many other roles.

Alison has also had musical theatre training at GAMTA (Glasgow Academy of Musical Theatre Arts) and Vivace. She is also an accomplished musician, playing piano, clarinet and guitar. This is Alison?s first performance with the Apollo Players and she is looking forward to participating in further productions.
