Alan Berkley

Alan joined us in 1999 to play Tom in BIG. Other credits include Ensemble/Understudy Mr Myers and Mr Sheinkopf in FAME (1999) and Edouard Dindon in LA CAGE AUX FOLLES last year. Prior to joining The Apollo Players, Alan appeared in pantomime as Dame Diedre Flumpwinkle in SLEEPING BEAUTY and this was shortly followed by CINDERELLA, which he wrote and directed. As well as stage work, he also has television/film experience and recent credits include Brian Cummingham in Scottish Television's REBUS: MORTAL CAUSES, COMPLICITY (Talisman Films), I SAW YOU (Scottish TV), CONFESSIONS OF A HIGHLAND LASSIE (BBC2), SWORD OF HONOUR (Channel 4) as well as numerous commercials. Most recently, Alan directed and appeared in a charity gala, in which he performed excerpts from various musicals.
