Adam Sharoudi

Adam's debut with The Apollo Players in The Wizard of Oz marks his return to the stage after an absence of two and half years to complete his studies. Unlike his alter ego in this production, Adam has certainly shown that he does have a brain, as he has graduated with a degree in applied mathematics.

Adam has acted and played a number of leading roles in stage musicals, both at school and various amateur companies in the Lanark and Motherwell areas. These roles include, Fagin in Oliver!, Lun Tha in The King and I, Ralph in The Sound of Music, and a previous appearance as the Scarecrow in The Wizard of Oz. However, Adam will never forget his portrayal of one of The Three Wise Men in the internationally acclaimed Oxford Gardens Primary School Nativity play!

Adam is delighted to be recreating the role of the Scarecrow in this production of The Wizard of Oz, this time in The Theatre Royal, Glasgow and would like to thank all of his friends and family for their support.
