Adam Gordon

Adam Gordon

Adam has always loved the theatre, ever since first venturing onto the stage as a corn-on-the-cob in the Witch?s garden in his school?s P1 production of Rapunzel. Performing at the Village feels like something of a homecoming for Adam, as he used to come here to watch his father direct and perform with East Kilbride Gilbert and Sullivan Society. Adam has trod the boards himself a few times before in panto, G & S and as Ernie in Men Should Weep, although this is his first time working with the Apollo Players.
Other productions include West Side Story (A-rab), Les Miserables Schools Edition (Valjean), Jesus Christ Superstar (Jesus), Gaslight (Mr Manningham), A Midsummer Night?s Dream (Oberon), Lovers (Andy) and Shadowlands (David). Though the words seem inadequate, Adam would like to thank his mum for her love and fierce support, and Nev, for being himself.

(Les Miserables, July 2006)
