Volunteering

Hi,

My name is Stuart Cartwright. I am 17. I have just successfully completed my HNC Sound Production and am about to embark on the HND for this subject. I am looking for volunteering opportunities to practice my sound production skill and to learn new ones. Can you please advise me if you would have an opening for a volunteer with my skills?

Hi there Stuart,

Many thanks for your email and for your interest in the club.

When we stage a show we will usually appoint an external sound company to look after this aspect of the production. They will be on site with us at the theatre and they usually attend the last full rehearsal run-throughs of the show to make them aware of the character parts,have clarity on how many mics are needed etc.

Gypsy takes place on 25-30th October and the run throughs would take place the week leading up to this.

We're having a directors meeting at the club rooms tonight and we can certainly chat over this one for you and come back to let you know what might work best.
