The Apollo Players Star Member is chosen by the directors of the club and acknowledges those individuals who have made a significant contribution to the success of club in any appropriate capacity.

Charmaine Rodigan

Charmaine has been an active member of the Apollo Players for some time. Over the years she has been in many shows as a principal dancer and is always happy to help out backstage when we are doing a show with children.
Towards the end of 2010, Charmaine was head chaperone during Gypsy and Cinderella. She spent alot of time with the kids prior to show week helping them with their rehearsals. During show week, she helped back stage ensuring the kids were ready to go on stage at the correct times and keeping them entertained between scenes.

Gary White

Gary has been a member of the Apollo Players for longer than he may care to admit (13 years according to my sources) and during this time he has performed in a wide variety of shows. Gary not only takes on principal roles but he also choreographs some of the dance numbers. You will always recognise Gary on stage as he is the one doing a backflip, cartwheel or some other aerobatic manoeuvre. Most recently, Gary has played Dandini in Cinderella and Jack in Disco Inferno. He also performed Queen's "Dont stop me now" at the Young VarietyAt Heart and These Variety Days performances.

During EuroBaet, Gary woo'ed the crowds with his singing and dancing forthe Poland and Russia entries. He also choreographed the Germany "non-singing" entry. The routine was amazing to watch and was a hit with the audience every night.
